A Handy Camera Checklist Before You Head Out the Door

I know you love taking your camera everywhere and grabbing shots at parties, on vacation, at the zoo and even the ballgame. If you are like me and must have your camera with you at all times then you have probably gone a time (or in my case 2 or 3 times) when you forgot an essential piece of gear or batteries or memory cards...at home. Yes, I have left the house with my camera and without memory cards. It's not fun. So here is a nice checklist of everything you might need to your outing.

Water and fire take on different looks during a long exposure. Set your camera on something sturdy (even the ground) to get a long exposure of a campfire. Use a tripod to take a long exposure of a waterfall or the waves crashing on the beach.
