A Look Back At 2014 - Behind the Scenes

by Eric Von Lehmden | January 5, 2015

2014 is still fresh on our memory. As we are barely get our feet wet into 2015 we wanted to take a look back at 2014 and share some of our favorite photos from the past year as a final farewell. We are very excited about what the new year will bring to us and to all of you. We know there will be ups and downs, but our hope is that there are always more ups than there are downs. We hope everyone had a terrific New Year's celebration. Whether it was just a quiet night in or a out at a party or in Times Square. We hope it was memorable.

Tips-n-Tricks #328

Photographing lightning is a guessing game. You need to use a tripod and a long exposure with your DSLR. Set up your composition and start with 15-30 second exposures. If your camera has a bulb setting then use that so the shutter can open for as long as the button is pressed. Be careful with camera shake as it will cause blurry photos.
