There is No Wrong Way to Hold the New Canon PowerShot N

Canon released several new camera models and the recent CES 2013 (Consumer Electronic Show). One of the most interesting and notable was the Canon PowerShot N. What makes it so unique is that there is no wrong way to hold the camera. That is due to its interesting configuration. First of all it is square so there is no top or bottom, left or right. Those positions change based on how you hold and orient the camera. The camera has an 5-40mm lens and is only about 1" thick. All that being said...how do you zoom and how do I take a photo. Well that is also in the unique design. Do you notice the 2 flat silver rings around the lens? Well one controls the zoom and the other one is the shutter release. The viewfinder is a 2.8" touchscreen that is fixed at a slight angle that make shooting from overhead and from low angles possible. You just rotate the camera to make it work for your shot. The PowerShot N inside boast a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor with a DIGIC 5 processor. ISO ranges of 80-6400, and it can snap 1080p video at 24 fps or 720p at 32 fps. Don't worry about taking photos or video in the dark because the camera includes a bright LED that serves as an AF-assist lamp, photo flash and video light.
Some of the other features of the PowerShot N are:
Has rechargeable battery that will connect via USB
WiFi connective to a dedicated mobile device connect button
Uses a micro SD card for storage
Software additions include Intelligent Scene Analysis which will auto crop and adjust color and contrast without deleting or overwriting the original file.
The PowerShot N is due to hit stores in April and will retail for around $300. It will come in White and Black. This should be a fun camera to play around with. Can't wait to see it in stores.
