Instagram 3.0 Update Adds Mapping Feature

Instagram launched it's latest version (3.0) and it is now available for both Apple and Android smart phones. This latest version adds optimization features that will make the photo sharing app easier and faster to use. The new features will also allow users to report abusive comments and spam. The real buzz is about Instagram's new photo mapping display which all fans will notice first.
The first time users open the app after updating, they will be guided through the new Photo Map feature. Users can geotag previous photos to add to their map that will be seen by other users that follow you. Users will also be able track their own and other users’ Photo Maps via their profile. The question becomes one of privacy. How much do you want other people to know where you are at or when you are at home or not? There are a few ways to disable the feature. The easiest way is to click the "uncheck all" button at the top of the app. You could also do this by going through your photos one by one.
