"Flames of Life" painting raises money for wildfire victims

This September, wildfires like we've never seen before in Texas have been devouring homes and businesses right in our backyard. Local artist V....Vaughan was inspired to help out her friends who run Angel Mountain Event Center in Bastrop. They had many of her paintings at the facility and all was lost.
Here is what the artist had to say about the process, from her blog: "When I am sad, I often paint, and this seems to help me process loss and move forward...even if it is just co-miserating with a friend....SO I PAINTED THE POPPIES...and am offering PRINTS for sale, with the proceeds TOTALLY dedicated to helping with this tragedy....by the way, the original poppy painting is for the NEW Angel Mountain!"
Our sister site Really Big Canvas is offering giclee prints and canvases of her painting with proceeds going to help the center rebuild. Order yours now!
