Do you know someone who loves the theater? Stage or screen, there are some people who absolutely love going to see the newest movie or play that comes to town. Sometimes, that’s their only hobby and they spend most of their free time getting tickets or reading critics or analysis books before going to see the show so that they can get as much as possible out of it. Unfortunately, these people can be very difficult to shop for. No one wants to go the easy route with a close friend and just get them a gift card to the movie theater or book store. You want to get them a gift that lets them know you enjoy their company and you listen to them when they discuss these things with you. This is where a custom photo to canvas print can make your gift giving experience a memorable one.

The process is simple. Just log on to www.canvaspress.com and follow their easy steps for creating your very own photo to canvas print. You can scan in an image of their favorite play’s playbill or hard copy movie poster. You can also go online and purchase a digital image of the movie poster or playbill for a famous movie or play if you do not have a hard copy available.
Here is an example for you that I used for my friends Bob and Lisa. These two are Shakespeare fanatics and will go to any performance of a Shakespeare play on stage or screen within a one hundred mile radius of their house. I knew I wanted to get them a Shakespeare themed photo to canvas print, so I went online and started searching for images. Their favorite play is Macbeth, so I focused my search to that one play. I stumbled across a website that had scans of an original playbill from this play and knew I had hit the jackpot. This is exactly what I wanted for this project. I contacted the site owner and got his permission to use the scan for my project. Once I had the image, I simply uploaded it to the Canvas Press website and followed their easy steps for creating my photo to canvas print.
I knew I wanted to get a fussy frame for the canvas since that is Bob and Lisa’s style, so I had the canvas created with a standard finish. Once framed, the image was beautiful and perfect for my friends.
