I decided to give it a shot and went to my mom’s house the following week. I did a quick rearranging of the photos in the hall, hoping she wouldn’t notice since there were so many. Once I had all the details worked out all I had to do was wait for the canvas to arrive. It was delivered to my door and I was more than pleased with the results. I put the picture back on the wall the next day and I don’t think my mom ever noticed it was missing.

I found the perfect frame for the canvas print the following weekend and had the whole thing assembled with plenty of time for Mother’s day. When she opened the package, she almost burst into tears and exclaimed that it was beautiful. It now hangs in the living room by her chair and she tells me that she is reminded of me and how thoughtful I am every time she looks at it.
