A Handy Camera Checklist Before You Head Out the Door

I know you love taking your camera everywhere and grabbing shots at parties, on vacation, at the zoo and even the ballgame. If you are like me and must have your camera with you at all times then you have probably gone a time (or in my case 2 or 3 times) when you forgot an essential piece of gear or batteries or memory cards...at home. Yes, I have left the house with my camera and without memory cards. It's not fun. So here is a nice checklist of everything you might need to your outing.

A good black and white photograph has a lot to do with contrast. A good way to learn what colors contrast well in black and white is to copy several photos from different folders into one folder and turn them black and white. Then compare them with the color originals to see which tones, colors, and lighting produce the best black and white photos.
