A Handy Camera Checklist Before You Head Out the Door

I know you love taking your camera everywhere and grabbing shots at parties, on vacation, at the zoo and even the ballgame. If you are like me and must have your camera with you at all times then you have probably gone a time (or in my case 2 or 3 times) when you forgot an essential piece of gear or batteries or memory cards...at home. Yes, I have left the house with my camera and without memory cards. It's not fun. So here is a nice checklist of everything you might need to your outing.

When taking full length portraits the camera should be on the same level as your subjects belly button. This will give the subject the correct proportion. If you photograph from too high it will shorten the legs and lengthen the torso. If you photograph from too low it will shrink their torso and lengthen the legs.
