Selects From the Week - 1/29

by Eric Von Lehmden | January 29, 2015

We are already at the end of January. It is so cliche to say that time flies, but the reality of that statement is so true. Just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas and being with family. Soon after the decorations came down (for most of us) and new year's resolutions were made. Here is hoping that those are staying strong. I guess my point to that is that life goes by quickly, but we can always make the time to be creative. We may have to schedule it on our calendar, but it can be done. I our case it would be taking photos or painting...but it could be any creative activity. We want to start showing off more of the outstanding work of our customers to help inspire your creativity. These are the selected images from the week.

Tips-n-Tricks #290

People are very self conscious about a double chin. A good way to avoid a double chin from appearing in photos is to have your subject bring their chin toward the camera (stretching their neck outward) and tell them to press their tongue to the roof of their mouth. Photograph them from slightly above to minimize the look. Yes, it feels awkward, but you can rarely see that in the photos.
