Friday Wrap Up 6/6

by Eric Von Lehmden | June 6, 2014

Each Friday we like to share different found items we have come across during the course of the week. Today is a significant day in American history. It is the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Thousands of men sacrificed their lives for their country and for freedom. We would like to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice by remembering them today.

The photos taken by Robert Capa are some of the most gripping images from that day. We thank all who serve and we hope that this small symbol of remembering lets you know that we will never forget the sacrifices you make.

Tips-n-Tricks #416

Girls with long hair and windy days don't often mix very well for great portraits. If you absolutely must get a photo of them on a windy day try to position them so that the wind is blowing their hair back and slightly to the left or right. This will still give some shape and movement to their hair rather than blowing it straight back, and it won't be in their face.
