Thinking About Great Gift Ideas - Gearing Up For the Holidays

christmas gift ideas

In case you haven't been to a department store yet...the Christmas decorations are already out. I know this is said every year, but I will say it anyways...this happens earlier and earlier every year. It seems like Halloween and Thanksgiving are skipped and we go straight for Christmas. In the defense of the retail stores...it is nearing the middle of October and it is never to early to at least start thinking about great gift ideas for Christmas. I know...it hurts my brain too. I am not in Christmas mode yet. Sometimes I don't get into gift buying mode until Christmas Eve. I know that some of you reading this are exactly like me. Thinking and thinking about what to get someone, then getting frustrated that we haven't thought of that one perfectly amazing gift that will leave your special person completely in awe...so we end up at the Gap...buying them a sweatshirt. Because that's EXACTLY what they need. I was being sarcastic just then if you didn't catch that. So let's turn over a new leaf this year. We will get on top of this problem and nip it in the bud so we can enjoy our days before Christmas as they should be. Relaxing.

As far as great gift ideas goes...might I suggest putting Canvas Press on your list as one of your go to places for someone on your list. I am not going to give you the hard sell...I know that it is unrealistic for you to buy everyone a canvas print or metal print for Christmas. And we don't really want you to. Save it for that one special person you want to wow this year. Take a photograph or piece of artwork that you have created and turn it into a gift that they will get to enjoy for years to come.

We can help you personalize it with a message or unique design, but even just the thought of giving a personal photo as a gift is enough to pull at the emotional strings. So start looking through your photos now so you can make sure to get the right photo to make into a photo canvas. Like I mentioned, we are here to help if you need us. You can always contact us at 888.784.5553 or by email at support@canvaspress.com or get started with your project on our website.

When taking full length portraits be sure to walk around your subject. Take a step up and crouch down too. Look at the different angles and what will be the most flattering way to photograph them.
