I was intrigued by what Canvas Press could do the first time I saw one of their demos at a networking event. It amazed me how with photography they could convert any image into a digital graphic image then create a large stretched canvas painted portrait.

My dad is a great guy. He always makes an effort to spend time with me, and since teenage girls can admittedly be a bit taxing on their fathers, I really appreciate that he tries. With Father’s day just around the corner, I wanted get him something that let him know how much he means to me. I talked to my mom about what we could do and we ended up spending a lot of time on the internet searching. When we found Canvas Press, we knew we had hit the jackpot.
A photo to canvas print was exactly what I wanted to create. Once I told my mom that this was definitely the gift I wanted to give for Father’s Day, she sat down with me and we went over a few ideas. I went ahead and pooled all the images together for each of them so that I we could look them over to decide.

Staged Image for Dad: This one mom came up with. She offered to take me out and buy me an outfit and then take me to a couple of places around town. Her idea was to get him an image he could take to his office, like me on the steps of the capital in a suit or on horseback in the country.

We still haven’t decided, but I think I’ve narrowed it down to either horseback riding or the image of me and dad at the football game.
